Finding Yourself

I am glad to be back in the Heights again. It's been awhile for me. Loved Kat's story. Things happen for a reason. It was time for Kat to live for Kat, and not her momma or ex. Speaking of her ex, Rex, he had some nerve trying to get back with her. She stood her ground! I so loved her and Derrick reconnecting and hope to hear about their progress in the next installment.

Cute Holiday Read

The Night Shift Series was my introduction to CCJ and is still my favorite series of hers so far. So I had to get my hands on Faded Memories immediately.
A mysterious stranger gives Katari some much-needed wisdom during the holidays, and she realizes that she's been living everyone else's dreams but her own. While beginning to forge her own path, she runs into old flame Derrick and the two get reacquainted again.
I wanted more of Kat and Derrick; they were so cute together. I was happy to be back in Blackwood. CCJ creates the best fictional neighborhoods. Please transport me to Blackwood, The Heights, or Sugar Valley pronto.
